The 110th Congress was sworn in today. Vern Buchanan (R) was seated as the Representative of FL-13 , Katherine Harris' former district in which 18,000 voters failed to vote for Congress. The House specifically kept open the option to come back to the matter of FL-13 later, possibly declaring the seat vacant and forcing a new election.
