Even without looking at the numbers, one thing is obvious: There is a lot of blue below and not a lot of red. This is not a good sign for Republicans. The Times/Siena poll is the gold standard in polling and all seven of their final Senate polls have the Democrat ahead. Although a year ago anyone predicting the Democrats would take the Senate would have gotten a lot of strange looks, such is not the case any more. (V)
