Is Abdul El-Sayed (D) really pulling away? It's possible; it would seem, according to Sarah Longwell of The Bulwark, that being on the right side of the Israel question is more important than being on the right side of MAGA for some Michigan voters. Meanwhile, we won't be too shocked if Brown wins Ohio comfortably. He did win statewide election there five times, and was only brought down because of Joe Biden's unpopularity. Now, it's the other guy who has to worry about an unpopular president. It also does not help that Sen. Jon Husted (R-OH) is both milquetoast and, by all appearances, a bit of a crook. This is not Jim Traficant's Ohio; Buckeyes ain't got no truck with that kind of behavior anymore. Especially from guys who do NOT have the world's worst toupee.
